My name is Georgia Acres. I am the Founder of Comfort ME and I have been a Master Seamstress for many years. I am the 3rd generation, and my run is approaching 28 yrs.

Our Story is one of many sequels..It's a journey of a family that has had its share of unwell.

My Mother is the  real driving force behind my craft. She was a excellent seamstress and upholsterer . She would eagerly wait for the new Home and Garden Magazine to come out, so she could be updated on the latest Kona color chart for our home. Heck, we had the same sofa for 15 years, but in 20 different colors! I remember one  year in particular it was a beautiful Lavender Brocade Fabric. It was my Dad's, NOT so much! But she was very ill most her life, and all of mine. She went deeper and deeper into her world and out of mine.

As a child growing up, watching one of the most loved people in your life suffer, not knowing where to get answers or even if those answers exist. Never Knowing if help will come.  Those experiences are long and tiring.  My Mom suffered from a terrible Schizophrenia disorder that changed my life as a child.

Years later, the same family is embarking on a life dedicated to helping people who have suffered from such difficulties

God has granted me a way to help others with these blankets!

How Powerful, How Ironic.
